BeeVibe DMCA and Copyright Policy

Effective date: 2026-04-16 Last updated: 2026-04-27 Version: 1.6

1. Overview

BV Labs, Inc., operator of BeeVibe ("we," "us," "our"), respects intellectual property rights. We respond to claims of copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and comparable laws in other jurisdictions.

This Policy explains how to submit a copyright infringement notice, how we handle notices, how to submit a counter-notice, and our policy on repeat infringers.

2. How to submit a DMCA takedown notice

If you believe content on BeeVibe infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA Notice to our designated agent. To be valid under Section 512(c)(3) of the DMCA, your notice must include all of the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list, if multiple works)
  2. Identification of the material you claim is infringing, and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it (URL, post ID, or screenshot)
  3. Your contact information: name, address, phone number, and email
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
  6. Your physical or electronic signature (typed name is acceptable)

Submit your notice to:

DMCA Designated Agent, BV Labs, Inc.

Our designated agent is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office at: https://www.copyright.gov/dmca-directory/

3. What happens after you submit a notice

Upon receiving a valid DMCA Notice:

  1. We will review the notice.
  2. If it appears valid, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
  3. We will notify the user who posted the material.
  4. We may provide that user with a copy of your notice (including your contact information). Do not submit a notice if you are unwilling to have your contact information shared.

If the user submits a valid counter-notice (see Section 4), we may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless you notify us that you've filed suit seeking a court order to keep the material down.

4. How to submit a counter-notice

If you are the user whose content was removed, and you believe the removal was mistaken or unauthorized, you may submit a Counter-Notice to our designated agent. To be valid, it must include:

  1. Identification of the material that was removed, and its location before removal (URL or post ID)
  2. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
  3. Your name, address, phone number, and email
  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the judicial district where your address is located (or, if your address is outside the U.S., any judicial district where BV Labs is located), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice
  5. Your physical or electronic signature

Submit your counter-notice to the same address as DMCA notices.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will:

  1. Send a copy to the original complainant
  2. Notify them we will restore the material in 10–14 business days unless they notify us that they have filed suit seeking a court order
  3. Restore the material if we do not receive notice of such filing

5. Repeat infringers

We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who we determine to be repeat infringers. A "repeat infringer" generally means a user who has received multiple (typically three or more) valid DMCA notices that were not successfully counter-noticed, within a rolling time period.

Repeat infringers may have their content removed, their account suspended or terminated, and (for Creators) their Identity Tokens frozen or burned in accordance with the Terms of Service and Creator Agreement.

6. False claims

Submitting a knowingly false DMCA notice or counter-notice can result in liability for damages, costs, and attorneys' fees under Section 512(f) of the DMCA. Do not submit a notice or counter-notice unless you have a genuine, good-faith basis.

7. Trademark and other IP complaints

For trademark or other non-copyright intellectual property complaints, email legal@beevibe.io with:

We review these complaints and respond consistent with applicable law.

8. Right of publicity / name and likeness complaints

If someone on BeeVibe is using your name, likeness, or persona without your consent — including an Identity Token that claims to represent you but was not authorized by you — contact us immediately at legal@beevibe.io.

Include:

We take right-of-publicity complaints seriously, because the whole platform depends on a market carrying the name of the person who actually owns it. If someone opens a market using another person's name or likeness, we may remove the content, freeze that market, burn the tokens involved, and refer the matter to law enforcement. This is the protection behind one verified person, one market.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as the law changes or as our process evolves. Material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date.
